The Jones County Sheriff’s Office is asking people to avoid the area near Eatonton Highway and Blounts Chapel Road.
GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Emergency crews are responding to a fire near Eatonton Highway at Blounts Chapel Road, according to the Jones County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Reece said the fire appears to be a woods fire.
The sheriff’s office is asking people to avoid the area so emergency personnel can work safely.
