Jones County Woman Dead After Monday Night Shooting

GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Jones County Captain Earl Humphries says 22-year-old Brittany Grizzle was shot and killed Monday night at a home on Joy Cliff Road.

Humphries says the shooting happened around 8:40 pm. He identified the shooter as Grizzle’s boyfriend, 27-year-old Waylon Goodson.

Goodson was brought in for questioning but has been released. Humphries says it’s not clear at this time whether the shooting was accidental or not. No charges have been filed against Goodson.
