Jones County Accepts Animal Shelter Pardon

GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Paws for Hope and Faith is continuing its’ rescue work throughout the Middle Georgia region, this time gaining a full pardon for animals in Jones County.

Jones County Animal Shelter Director Jennifer Giddons agreed to a one-week pardon, promising not to euthanize any animals until next Monday.

Now the non-profit group is working to find homes for the 12 adoptable cats and dogs at the facility.

Shane and Janet Smith with Paws for Hope and Faith has entered several pardons with animal control centers across the nation, working to find animals committed, loving homes.

Anyone interested in adopting is asked to stop by Jones County Animal Control located at 395 Eatonton Highway in Gray, Georgia.
