John Williams’ Trial Postponed Until April
Former Warner Robins City Council member John Williams’ court date has been delayed until April 23.
Williams tells 41 NBC, he’s relieved at the delay after recent health issues, and that he’ll have more time to review his case. U.S. District Judge Marc Treadwell will preside over the case.
A few months ago, Williams was indicted on charges of extortion, making false statements to the FBI, and tampering with a witness by a federal grand jury.
His trial was originally set to begin on January 23.
