Jobs, Tourism, and Moonshine Coming to Jones County

Georgia Distilling will begin distilling operations in the city of Haddock this spring.

The distillery will begin with making vodka, gin, and moonshine out of the old Cherokee Products plant in Haddock. The plant was once used as a cannery for fruits and vegetables under the O’Sage brand name, but has been out of operations for the past 15 years.

Georgia Distilling expects to hire about 10 employees to begin with, but hopes that number will increase to more than 50 once they get going for a couple of years.
