Jay’s Hope celebrates 10th annual ‘Trek or Treat’

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Jay’s Hope Foundation is preparing to host its annual Trek or Trek Run and Walk.

Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to take part in the spooky Halloween fun for a cause.

This year there will be a 5K,10K, an “Un” Spooky Sprint and a Candy Mile, where kids can collect thousands of pieces of candy.

The costumed run benefits local kids battling cancer.

The run starts at Bass Pro Shops on 5000 Bass Pro Boulevard in Macon at 8:00 a.m. and continues on New Forsyth Road on Saturday, October 31.

There is a $30 registration fee.
