Jake Fromm discusses his role in youth leadership at Boy Scouts Pacesetter Dinner
The former HOCO football and baseball star, former Georgia QB and current Washington Commanders QB, was the keynote speaker at the Boy Scouts Pacesetter Dinner on Tuesday.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Former HOCO and University of Georgia star Jake Fromm made a trip back to Middle Georgia on Tuesday to share his words of wisdom as the keynote speaker of the 2024 Boy Scouts Council Pacesetter Dinner.
Fromm spoke to donors and scout troops at the Methodist Home for Children about his experience in leadership during his football career so far and how he hopes to use that experience to help the next generation of Middle Georgia.
“It’s always cool to kind of come back to kind of your hometown, same community, and to be able to speak before people and especially before the youth too,” Fromm said. “It’s a big responsibility, and it’s something that I don’t take lightly. It’s a privilege and an honor, and it’s always exciting when you get to do it. The pressure is there, because you want to do a great job and make sure you are leading them in the right direction, and hopefully they make less mistakes than I made.”
