IT’S THE LAW: Bibb Sheriff David Davis & Attorney J. Davis weigh in on North Charleston Shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff David Davis and Attorney J. Davis say they are disappointed with a South Carolina officer’s actions concerning a shooting incident that left one man dead.

The two weighed in on the incident during the “It’s the Law” segment. 

J. Davis says it’s important the public hold law enforcement accountable when an officer may be using excessive force. Sheriff David Davis says by the end of the summer his deputies will be issued body cameras, and he says it’s necessary to re-train them to make sure they know proper procedures when using their weapon.
