Moms and dads join iStroll Macon for Fourth of July workout in Macon
iStroll Macon welcomed moms, dads and kids for a red, white and blue workout at Amerson Park to celebrate the Fourth of July together.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – As families across Middle Georgia prepared to indulge in their holiday hotdogs and hamburgers, a group gathered at Amerson Park Friday morning to burn off some calories before the celebrations began.
A local workout group for moms and kids called “iStroll Macon” started the fourth off with red, white, blue and yoga mats and dumbbells as moms, dads and kids met up at Amerson Park for a quick workout.
Coach Kaylee Osnowitz with iStroll Macon says Friday’s workout was a little different since dads were involved.
“I think the 4th of July is a great time to get together and kind of show unity,” she said. “We want to focus on the whole family being together and celebrating for the fourth of July.”
Osnowitz says dads need support just as much as moms do and mentioned the value of creating a supportive network and village for moms through physical fitness. If you’re interested in joining the group, you can visit their website: Macon – iStroll. iStroll Macon offers the first class for free.
