ISO rating improved for Baldwin County

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Residents who pay insurance on properties in Baldwin County can expect a reduction on their annual payment.

According to Chief Troy Reynolds with the Baldwin County Fire Rescue, the county’s Insurance Services Office rating improved from a Class 6/9 to a Class 3.3X.

The rating is determined by comparing the county’s fire suppression capability to the ISO’s standards.

Residents can expect a 15% to 20% reduction.
