Inmates sneak marijuana, other drugs inside Bibb County LEC

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two inmates at the Bibb County LEC tried sneaking marijuana and other contraband inside the jail. 

Authorities say Henry Rouse and Nekoase Vinson were allowed to attend a private viewing for their deceased grandmother at a Macon funeral home. 

Deputies searched the two inmates when they returned and found a baggie of marijuana, loose leaf tobacco, a lighter, and a cell phone. 

Officials believe the two got the contraband from family members or friends. 

Both Rouse and Vinson are charged with marijuana possession and crossing the guardline with contraband.
