Independence Day celebrations across Middle Georgia

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Fourth of July is almost here and folks around Middle Georgia are preparing for upcoming celebrations.

41NBC has a list of local 4th of July events happening around Middle Georgia.

  • Macon: Sparks Over the Park at Lake Tobesofkee on July 4. Live music with The Rescue Dogs is from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Sandy Beach Park, and the fireworks show will start at 9:15 p.m.  Macon Bacon will also have fireworks.
  • Centerville: Independence Day Celebration on June 28. The celebration begins at 6 p.m. and the drone show begins at dark.
  • Warner Robins: Independence Day Celebration on June 29. The celebration begins at 6 p.m. and fireworks begin at 10 p.m.
  • Cochran-Bleckley: 4th of July Independence Day Celebration on July 4. The celebration begins at 6 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
  • Wrightsville: 4th of July Celebration on July 5. The celebration begins at 7 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.
  • Perry: Independence Day Celebration on July 4. The celebration begins at 7 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
  • Forsyth: Fireworks over Forsyth on July 6. The celebration begins at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
  • Milledgeville: Annual firework show on June 29. The fireworks begin after dark.
  • Dublin: Independence Celebration on July 6. The fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
  • Reynolds: Speed and Sparks on July 6. The fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
