Husband Shoots Wife in Face in Monroe County

A Monroe County man has been arrested for shooting his wife in the face.  A news release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened around 7:45pm Monday on Blount Road.  Deputies say 44-year-old Troy Ferrari shot his wife Kim Ferrari in the face with a shotgun.  When law enforcement arrived on the scene the suspect tried to hide the gun by putting it on the roof of one of the buildings on the couples property. 

The victim was transported to Spalding Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Troy Ferrari was taken to the Monroe County Jail and charged with aggravated assault. Offcials say more charges could follow as the investigation continues.
