Husband and wife dead after house fire in Gordon
The victims were 72-year-old Russell Hawthorne and 67-year-old Cindy Hawthorne.
GORDON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two are dead after a house fire in Gordon, according to Wilkinson County Coroner Billy Matthews.
The house fire happened at 107 Sitton Avenue on May 24.
The victims were 72-year-old Russell Hawthorne and 67-year-old Cindy Hawthorne.
The fire marshal is still investigating what caused the fire.
The bodies have been sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Crime Lab in Macon for an autopsy.
