A Marginal (level 1/5) risk area has been issued for Middle Georgia today. Isolated showers and storms that form this afternoon could pose a small risk for severe weather.

Any strong storm that forms will need to be watched for damaging wind gust potential. High temperatures will make it into the upper 80’s this afternoon before falling into the middle 60’s overnight.

Rain and storm chances tomorrow will be slightly better than today. Temperatures will top out in the upper 80’s under a partly cloudy sky. Overnight lows will be mild with temperatures in the middle and upper 60’s.

Having the umbrella nearby is going to be a good plan over the next week. We look to stay mostly dry Saturday with the exception of a few showers. Past that, rain chances will be possible each and every afternoon.
