Humanitarian Gang Inc. hosting free back-to-school giveaway in Macon Saturday

The event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m., while supplies last, at the U Create Macon Innovation Center, 1065 Anthony Road.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Families can receive free backpacks and school supplies during the fourth annual Humanitarian Gang Inc. Back 2 School Drive-Thru Giveaway on Saturday in Macon.

The event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m., while supplies last, at the U Create Macon Innovation Center, 1065 Anthony Road.

According to Victoria Hudson, founder of Humanitarian Gang Inc., the giveaway will provide one backpack and school supplies to each child while supplies last. Children must be present to receive the items.

Organizers say community resources also will be available during the event.

The back-to-school giveaway is hosted by Humanitarian Gang Inc. in partnership with U Create Macon.
