Houston Healthcare medical staff donates $20K to Habitat for Humanity
According to Vice Chief of Staff, Dr. Appavuchetty Soundappan, the medical staff chooses a new organization to donate to every year.

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Houston Healthcare medical staff has donated $20,000 to Houston County Habitat for Humanity.
According to Vice Chief of Staff Dr. Appavuchetty Soundappan, Houston Healthcare chooses a new organization to donate to every year.
Staff made the decision for 2024 earlier this month during an executive committee meeting.
Dr. Soundappan says 18 physicians in total contributed to the donation.
They chose Houston County Habitat for Humanity because they feel everyone should have a nice and safe place to live.
