Houston County Man Sentenced to 20 Years For Beating

HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia(41NBC/WMGT) – A Houston County man is sentenced to 20 years in prison for aggravated battery and cruelty to children.

29-year-old Arther Agnew was sentenced for the incident in Houston County Superior Court Friday for the incident that happened back in 2011 in Warner Robins.

Agnew brutally attacked a 26-year-old female victim, breaking her nose and neck, and battering her face beyond recognition with his fists.

The victim’s 3-year-old son saw the whole attack, and the family says the two still suffer flashbacks and nightmares from the experience.
