Houston County man charged in Hawkinsville shooting

31-year-old Thomas Arnold was taken into custody on Tuesday, January 23.

HAWKINSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Houston County deputies arrested a man in connection with a shooting last week.

31-year-old Thomas Arnold was taken into custody on Tuesday, January 23.

The sheriff’s office says he’s accused of shooting a man on January 14 on Pitts Road in Hawkinsville.

Deputies say the victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Arnold is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

He’s being held at the Houston county jail.
