Houston County Killing Case Unfolds Suspect ‘May Have Killed Wrong Person’

HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Houston County gunman may have killed the wrong person back in January, according to the county sheriff’s office.

At yesterday’s preliminary hearing, more information on the ‘hit-man’ case unfolded.

41NBC spoke with Capt. Jon Holland about the ongoing investigation.

Hollands says collected evidence shows Devasko Lewis hired Jamarcus Clark to “threaten” Corey Daniels-Lewis’ former co-worker-for filing false documents stating he was the owner of Eagles Trans.

Clark shot and killed Kerry Glenn-Daniel’s uncle-at his Perry home earlier this year.

This case is still under investigation. Both Clark and Daniels remain behind bars.
