Houston County is Headed Back to the State Championship

The 33-5 Houston County Bears swept their Final Four series with the Loganville Red Devils to advance to the State Championship

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – On Tuesday night at The Garden, the Houston County Bears defeated the Loganville Red Devils in the GHSA AAAAA Semifinal Round to advance to the State Championship.

The Bears won game one 4-1 and swept the series with a game two victory of 5-2.

The Bears are back in the state championship for the third time in five years, after winning the title in 2021 and 2023, where the team were 6-A champions and had their best record in program history.

HoCo will now face Newnan at CoolRay Field next week in the pursuit of the Bears fifth state championship in program history.
