Houston County Investigators Seek To Identify Body Found In Ocmulgee River
PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The body of an unknown man was found Sunday in the Ocmulgee River. Houston County Investigators are working diligently to identify the man’s body.
According to a news release, witnesses led officers to Knowles Landing on Georgia Highway 96 where deputies found the body.
There is no word yet on how the man ended up in the river or how he died.
The Houston County Fire Department and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources helped pull the body out of the river.
