Houston County graduation date and times set

All five commencement ceremonies will be held May 24-25 in Perry, at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Reaves Arena.

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Houston County School District has released the times and dates for this year’s high school graduation ceremonies.

All five commencement ceremonies will be held May 24-25 in Perry, at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Reaves Arena.

The school district says each graduate will receive 10 tickets for graduation. It says original tickets will be required for entry into Reaves Arena, and no photocopy or digital image of a ticket will be accepted.

The graduation commencement schedule and parking information is below:

  • Northside High School – May 24, 4:00 p.m.
    • Use Exit 135 and park at the North Gate
  • Warner Robins High School – May 24, 7:30 p.m.
    • Use Exit 134 and park at the West Gate
  • Veterans High School – May 25, 8:30 a.m.
    • Use Exit 135 and park at the North Gate
  • Perry High School – May 25, 12:00 p.m.
    • Use Exit 134 and park at the West Gate
  • Houston County High School – May 25, 3:30 p.m.
    • Use Exit 135 and park at the North Gate

Hoco Graduation

Guests requiring handicap parking are asked to use Exit 135 and enter through the North gate. A handicap decal should be prominently displayed, and parking will be in the courtyard behind the Georgia Grown Building.

To provide a safe environment for our graduates and their guests, the Houston County School District has implemented guidelines limiting the types of bags allowed at graduation ceremonies. All bags must be clear and will be subject to inspection. Small purses under 4.5” x 6.5,” diaper bags and medical bags are allowed but are also subject to inspection.

The following items will not be allowed in Reaves Arena:

  • Balloons or flowers
  • Chairs
  • Coolers
  • Noisemakers
  • Posters/flyers
  • Tripods
  • Umbrellas
  • Weapons

Doors will open one hour prior to the start of each ceremony.

The Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter is located at 401 Larry Walker Parkway in Perry.
