Houston County Coroner: Man killed after vehicle collides with trash truck

The incident happened shortly after noon on Highway 341 south of Haynesville.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is dead after a crash in Houston County Friday afternoon.

According to Houston County Coroner James Williams, the crash happened shortly after noon on Highway 341 south of Hayneville.

He says 76-year-old Walter Cornelius Wells from Pineview was killed after his vehicle collided with a trash truck.

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
