Houston County car accident kills one

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Pineview man is dead after a single car accident in Houston County early Saturday morning.

Georgia State Patrol Troopers said Curtis Barnett was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 pick-up truck and pulling a boat trailer behind it. Barnett was heading southbound on I-75. At mile marker #127, the truck went off the road and hit the end of a guard rail. The car and trailer flipped multiple times.

The Houston County Coroner’s Office pronounced Barnett dead at the scene.
