Houston Commissioners Honor Bibb Commissioners

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Houston County commissioners spent the first part of their meeting Tuesday morning reminiscing and honoring Bibb commissioners as they prepare to leave their posts when Macon-Bibb consolidates.

Houston County Chairman Tommy Stalnaker presented all four Bibb commissioners with wooden pens and dedicated a proclamation to Bibb Chairman Sam Hart. Stalnaker spoke on how the two counties worked regionally to benefit together.

He added Houston and Bibb’s relationship was more than just politics and he gained several friends along the way.

Stalnaker also wished everyone on the Bibb commission the best.
