Hotel 45 prepares for Cherry Blossom Pink Tie Event

In downtown Macon, the Hotel Forty Five is turning up the flavor for the Cherry Blossom Festival with a full lineup of themed dining experiences.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – From pink-inspired cocktails to elevated dishes, the hotel is offering guests multiple ways to celebrate one of the city’s most iconic spring traditions.

Inside the hotel, Loom Comfort Kitchen & Cocktails and Hightales Rooftop Bar are serving up specialty items throughout the festival. Guests can enjoy unique bites like open-faced bao with hoisin pork belly and pink pickled slaw, along with themed drinks such as Strawberry Moscow Mules and Pink Lemon Drops.

Head Chef McArthur says the goal is to create an experience that not only tastes good but also reflects the spirit of the festival.

Meanwhile, General Manager Joe Pankrath says the hotel wants to be a central hub for both locals and visitors looking to celebrate downtown.

The celebration goes beyond everyday menu items. During the festival, Reckon Coffee & Wine Bar is offering pink pastries and specialty items, while drink specials are available across the property.

One of the highlights is the Cherry Blossom Parade Patio Cookout, where guests can enjoy dishes like chicken kabobs, lamb sliders, and festival-themed drinks while taking in the parade-day atmosphere.

For those looking for a more elevated experience, Loom is also hosting an exclusive “Pink Tie” five-course dinner. The prix-fixe meal features seasonal ingredients and cherry-inspired flavors, including dishes like duck breast with cherry demi and black cherry cheesecake.

Seating for the dinner is limited, and reservations are strongly encouraged.

With a mix of casual bites and upscale dining, Hotel Forty Five is offering something for everyone looking to celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival in style.

Loom Comfort Kitchen & Cocktails will host an intimate prix-fixe Pink Tie dinner from 6 to 9 p.m.
