(CNN)- Stephen Colbert says gratitude is guiding him through a pivotal moment in his career, as the longtime late-night host prepares to receive a major honor from the Writers Guild of America.

Colbert will be awarded the prestigious Walter Bernstein Award, which recognizes a writer who has demonstrated “creativity, grace and bravery” while confronting social injustice in the face of adversity. The recognition comes shortly after CBS canceled Colbert’s award-winning late-night show, a move that followed the host’s public criticism of parent company Paramount Global’s settlement with President Donald Trump.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his show’s future, Colbert expressed appreciation for the journey, saying, “You have to be grateful for all of it.”

Meanwhile, actress Chase Infiniti, known for her role in One Battle After Another, is making the move to television. Her upcoming series, The Testaments, is set to debut April 8 on Hulu. The show is a spinoff of The Handmaid’s Tale and brings back Ann Dowd as the formidable Aunt Lydia.

In the new series, Aunt Lydia runs a preparatory school for young girls destined to become future wives in the dystopian society of Gilead, expanding the dark and complex world that first captivated audiences in the original series.

Also streaming now is a powerful new documentary titled 33 Photos from the Ghetto. The film offers a rare and deeply moving look at the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and the brutal Nazi response that followed. The documentary centers on 33 photographs taken by a Polish firefighter — the only known images of the uprising not shot by German forces. The photos were discovered by the firefighter’s son more than 80 years later.

33 Photos from the Ghetto is now available to stream on HBO Max.
