Meanwhile, actor Tessa Thompson is earning major recognition for her performance in Hedda. The Gotham Awards announced Thompson will receive the Spotlight Tribute at the December 1 ceremony. Organizers praised her portrayal as “both fearless and revelatory.” Hedda is now playing in select theaters and will debut on Prime Video October 29.

And Netflix’s animated juggernaut K-Pop Demon Hunters continues to expand its empire — this time into the toy aisle. The streamer has struck licensing deals with Hasbro and Mattel to produce official dolls, action figures, accessories, and collectibles based on the global hit.
