(CNN)- Fans of Stranger Things will soon have a chance to say goodbye to Hawkins in a big way. Netflix announced the series finale will screen in more than 350 theaters across the U.S. and Canada.

The two-part finale event begins December 31st, coinciding with its streaming debut, and will be shown again on January 1st. The first half of Season 5, the show’s last, premieres November 26th.

Elsewhere in pop culture, The Jim Henson Company is marking its 70th anniversary with a special auction of puppets, props, and memorabilia from its most beloved film and television projects. And fans of high-stakes thrillers can get their first look at Chris Hemsworth in Crime 101, a new action film where he plays a professional thief with secrets to hide. The star-studded cast includes Mark Ruffalo, Nick Nolte, and Halle Berry, with the film set to hit theaters February 13th.
