The actor, best known for portraying Luke Skywalker, expressed his excitement over the recognition. “The exhilaration of being recognized this way—I haven’t been this speechless since ‘Force Awakens,'” Hamill joked. The celebration comes as Hamill prepares for a busy year, with three films set for release: The Long Walk, The Life of Chuck, and The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.

CinemaCon also featured a special appearance by The Weeknd, who unveiled the latest trailer for his upcoming film, Hurry Up Tomorrow. The reality-bending drama, co-starring Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan, is set to hit theaters on May 16.

 Singer and actress Dove Cameron is using her platform to support mental health initiatives. She will headline a “shoppable live-stream concert event” on YouTube and Instagram this Thursday (April 3) at 5 PM PT. As she performs songs from her upcoming album, fans will have the opportunity to purchase items from the set, with proceeds benefiting the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
