Hollywood Minute: Lindsay Lohan lands first TV leading Role

Lindsay Lohan is making her return to the spotlight with her first lead role in a TV series.

(CNN)- Lindsay Lohan is making her return to the spotlight with her first lead role in a TV series. She’ll star in and executive-produce Count My Lies, a drama based on Sophie Stava’s novel about a wealthy family full of secrets. The series is currently in development at Hulu.

Meanwhile, fans are getting a first look at The Roses, a reimagining of the 1989 dark comedy The War of the Roses. Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman star as a battling couple in what promises to be a fierce, fiery update to the original film. The Roses hits theaters on August 29th.

 Selena Gomez is being recognized as the 2025 Billboard Latin Women in Music “Woman of the Year.” The award honors outstanding achievement, leadership, and cultural influence. Gomez will be celebrated during a special airing April 24th on Telemundo.
