Actress and musician Jennifer Nettles joins Kevin Bacon in the supernatural horror series The Bondsman, debuting today on Prime Video.

(CNN)- Actress and musician Jennifer Nettles joins Kevin Bacon in the supernatural horror series The Bondsman, debuting today on Prime Video. Nettles says the script immediately captivated her. “As a musician, the way I read things is the way I write things—I don’t read with my eyes, I read with my ears,” she explains. “I ask myself, does this sound authentic? Can I hear this in someone’s mouth? And these words jumped off the page as real to me. I loved the storyline.” In addition to starring together on screen, Bacon and Nettles are also collaborating in music. Their album, Hell and Back, is set for release this Friday, April 4.

Meanwhile, action-adventure fans get their first look at Fountain of Youth, directed by Guy Ritchie. The film stars John Krasinski and Natalie Portman as estranged siblings on a global quest for the legendary fountain. Fountain of Youth premieres May 23 on Apple TV+.
