Hollywood Minute: Happy Gilmore returns, Stranger Things ends, and Benoit Blanc is back
Nearly 30 years after the original comedy classic teed off, Happy Gilmore 2 is officially here.

(CNN)- Nearly 30 years after the original comedy classic teed off, Happy Gilmore 2 is officially here. The first full trailer just dropped, revealing a mix of new and familiar faces. This time around, Happy returns to the golf course with a heartfelt mission: to earn money to send his daughter to ballet school. The sequel is set to premiere on July 25.
Meanwhile, Netflix is gearing up to say goodbye to one of its biggest series. The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is on the way — but it won’t all drop at once. The final eight episodes will be released in batches: the first set streaming around Thanksgiving, followed by more episodes on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. The story picks up in 1987, more than a year after the events of Season 4, and promises to deliver an epic conclusion to the beloved sci-fi saga.
Also returning this year is fan-favorite detective Benoit Blanc. Daniel Craig reprises his role in Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. While details on the plot are under wraps, Netflix is teasing this third installment as Blanc’s “most dangerous case yet.” The film premieres on December 12.
