(CNN)- Fans preparing to say goodbye to Stranger Things now know exactly how much time to set aside for the show’s final chapters.
Show co-creator Ross Duffer revealed on Instagram that episodes five, six, and seven — debuting Thursday, December 25 — will each run between just over an hour and roughly an hour and fifteen minutes. The series finale, set to premiere on New Year’s Eve, will clock in at two hours and eight minutes.
Meanwhile, moviegoers are getting an earlier-than-expected scare. Ready or Not 2 is now slated to hit theaters March 27, moving up its release by two weeks. The shift pushes The Dog Stars, directed by Ridley Scott, to a new theatrical date of August 28.
There are also new home-viewing options landing today, December 23. The horror sequel Black Phone Two arrives on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, while the acclaimed drama Sentimental Value — winner of the Grand Prize at Cannes and considered a strong Oscar contender — is now available on digital platforms.
