(CNN)- James Cameron’s “Avatar: The Way of Water” is returning to IMAX theaters on October 3rd. The re-release gives audiences another chance to experience the film’s  visuals ahead of the next installment in the franchise, “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” which arrives December 19th.

Fans of the iconic fashion film “The Devil Wears Prada” are also in for a treat. A sequel is now officially on the release schedule, set to hit theaters May 1st, 2026.

That date had originally been held by Marvel’s “Avengers: Doomsday,” which has now been pushed to December 2026. The highly anticipated film is expected to feature Robert Downey Jr. in a significant role.

Meanwhile, as “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” prepares for release, cast member Greg Tarzan Davis is sharing what he learned on location. Among the highlights: seeing glaciers and polar bears in person for the first time.

“I had never seen a glacier besides in a textbook. I had never seen a polar bear — never in IRL,” Davis said, laughing as he explained he just learned what “IRL” means. “Now he’s saying that in every interview,” his co-star joked.
