According to his publicist, Redford passed away at his home at Sundance in the mountains of Utah — a place he cherished deeply — surrounded by loved ones. No cause of death has been given.
Redford’s career spanned decades and left an indelible mark on Hollywood. He rose to fame with starring roles in classics such as “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” and “All the President’s Men.” Beyond acting, Redford earned acclaim as a director, winning awards for films including “Ordinary People” and “A River Runs Through It.”
