Hollywood Heartthrob Harrison Ford Set To Film In Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Hollywood Star Harrison Ford will head to downtown Macon to shoot part of his latest flick, 42. The movie is based on the life of baseball legend Jackie Robinson.

Chairman of the Macon film commission Elliot Dunwoody says location crews are already in town prepping for the movie. Filming will start in late May or early June and will last at least a month. He wasn’t able to reveal much information about 42, but says several downtown venues will be used for a backdrop for the movie.

Filming will also take place in Atlanta and Chatanooga, TN.

Earlier this month, Clint Eastwood was in Macon filming scenes from his latest flick, Trouble With A Curve.
