Shopping this holiday season could become very expensive if you don’t take proper precautions. Shopping until you run out of cash or credit cards during the holiday season might be the norm, but identity theft and robberies are too. Community Educator for the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Middle Georgia, Ed Williams says there are some things you can do to protect yourself.

“You don’t want to be flashing your wallet or pocket book around; you don’t want people to see if your carrying money, you want to go in very lit places with people around, said Williams”.
