BYRON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Byron Historic Train Depot will showcase new artwork Wednesday, including a mural, a historic portrait, fresh paint and new flooring.
The museum opened two months ago, according to Mary Jo McCary, tour specialist with the Byron Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Staff will offer tours of the depot, the city’s historic jail and the new mural to highlight the updates.
The event begins at 3 p.m. at 101 East Heritage Boulevard.
