HIGHLIGHTS: Mercer falls short of a comeback against Georgia Tech in a 9-5 loss
The Bears scored all five of their runs in the bottom of the eighth and ninth inning after being down eight runs

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Mercer Bears Baseball team (10-6) hosted the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (11-4) at OrthoGeorgia Park Tuesday night.
The Bears were down early and often, giving up eight runs in the first eight innings.
However, the Bears were able to put together two runs in the bottom of the eight inning with a home run from Connor Todaro, and three more runs in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Mercer can’t complete the comeback in the ninth inning, and fall to the Yellow Jackets 9-5.
Georgia Tech moves to 12-4 and will face NC State at home on Friday, while Mercer falls to 10-7 and will start their three game weekend series with Siena on Saturday at 1 p.m.
