MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Mercer Bears (15-12) lost 5-4 to the Kennesaw State Owls (16-11) at OrthoGeorgia Park Tuesday Night.

Mercer tied things up at one run a piece in the bottom of the fourth inning when Ty Dalley hit a home run to right center field.

After scoring three consecutive runs in the bottom of the fifth to go up by three runs, the Bears gave up three runs in the top of the sixth inning, and the go ahead run in the top of the seventh inning, to lose to the Owls five runs to four.

Mercer will head to East Tennessee State for a three game weekend series on Friday.
