Jones County Dominates at Mary Persons Girls Volleyball Invitational

FORSYTH, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – At Mary Persons High School Tuesday night, the Lady Bulldogs were one of three teams in a girls volleyball invitational. The first game of the night saw Jones County defeat Mary Persons in a close two sets, 25-23, 25-23, to win the first game of the night. The second game of the night had Jones County taking on the Ace Lady Gryphons and the Lady Greyhounds won their second game of the night in two sets 25-22, 25-10 to go undefeated in the invitational. The third game of the night featured the home team Mary Persons taking on Ace with both teams looking for a win before the night was over. Ace won the first set 25-22, but Mary Persons came back to win the second set 25-17. In the third set, the Lady Bulldogs took over and won 15-10 to take the match two sets to one.
