HIGHLIGHTS: Mary Persons and FPD come down to the wire

FPD Hosted Mary Persons and pulled out the victory 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The FPD Vikings (9-0) hosted the Mary Persons Bulldogs (5-4) in a battle of GHSA versus GIAA.

FPD was able to win a close game 4-3 after Tinsley Lewis hit a walk off double in the bottom of the seventh inning with two outs.

The Vikings finished the game with eight hits, while the Bulldogs finished with four.  Mary Persons also had two errors.

FPD advances to 10-0 and will play John Milledge Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Mary Persons falls to 5-5 and will play Bleckley County Wednesday at 6 p.m.
