Howard Gets First Win Of The Season Over Rutland 31 12

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Howard Huskies won their first game of the year Thursday at Ed Defore Sports Complex, beating winless Rutland 31-12.

After a two-hour storm delay in the second quarter, the Huskies scored 22 more points to secure the victory.

Howard will be on the road next week to take on West Laurens, while Rutland hosts Lamar County.
