HIGHLIGHTS: FPD Falls in Game One of the GIAA AAAA State Championship

The Vikings come up short as they lost game one to Brookstone 7-3

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – In Game One of the GIAA AAAA Baseball State Championship at Luther Williams Field, the FPD Vikings fall short as they lost 7-3 to the Brookstone Cougars (27-5).

Senior Cody Strandmark scores two runs, one off a wild pitch, and another off an RBI Double from Sophomore Keon Johnson. Who himself scored on one of three errors on the night from Brookstone.

Even with Hays Bryant dealing seven strikeouts in four and a half innings pitched, the Vikings give up four runs in the top second and go onto lose 7-3.

Game two scheduled for Friday at 7 pm pending weather delays.
