HIGHLIGHTS: Bacon lose back-to-back at home Thursday
The Macon Bacon (16-28) fell to the Lexington County Blowfish (24-20) in both games of their home doubleheader Thursday

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Bacon hosted the Lexington County Blowfish in a doubleheader Thursday after rain delays postponed the last two games between the two CPL West teams earlier this month. The last time these two faced off the Blowfish snuck away with a win 7-6 on July 3rd.
Game one saw the Bacon lose 7-5 even after four runs scored in the bottom seventh. Game two started at 10 p.m after a rain delay and finished up quickly. After just two hours, the Bacon fell once again to the Blowfish. No runs all game until the top seventh when the Blowfish scored two runs. However, Macon could only score one in their last chance in the bottom seventh, so they lose 2-1.
Bacon on the road Friday night for a redemption doubleheader with the Blowfish in Lexington County. The last game of the season is Saturday at Luther Williams Field as the Bacon host the Florence Flamingos.
