High Speed Chase in Bibb County Leads to Arrest
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrest a Macon man after a 40
minute chase.
Saturday, around 3A.M. deputies attempted to stop 33-year-old Willie Harvey III for a missing tail light. Harvey refused to stop and lead deputies on a pursuit across the county. He finally stopped on Ocmulgee East Boulevard.
Deputies charged Harvey with reckless driving, eluding police, driving with a suspended license, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer,
and several traffic charges.
He is currently being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center
without bond.
