Here are your Bibb County valedictorians of 2015

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – In Bibb County, you’ll find seven valedictorians who are ready to start college and build their futures.

Bayleigh Carver of Howard High School is going to UGA in the fall and wants to go to pharmacy school.

Alyssa Trussell of Westside High School is going to tackle a pre-med major and wants to eventually go to medical school.

Grace Martin of Central High School isn’t sure yet what she wants to do, so she is traveling to Portland, Oregon and attending Reed College to experience a different environment and culture and figure out her future from there.

Holly Carter will go into neonatology, influenced by her brother who was born premature.

Amber Hughes of Rutland High School wants to be a nurse practitioner and own her own practice, but she may go into pediatrics because she loves kids.

Courtney McCoy of Southwest High School is interested in dentistry and will probably have to put down the flute in order to concentrate on her studies.

And Auriel Wright nabbed over $1 million in scholarships and chose Harvard (you read that right) as the university she will attend. She’s researched GMO’s and is searching for different ways to grow crops without the use of genetic modification.

From all of us here at 41NBC, congratulations and good luck!
