Help for Homeless During Cold Weather

The abnormally cold weather has organizations working together to keep residents safe, through The Macon-Bibb Emergency Management Agency’s Be Prepared Campaign.

The extreme cold temperatures have forced shelters, like the Macon Outreach, to extend their hours to offer a warm place for the homeless in our community.

 The Macon Outreach will be open at 8am instead of 11, while the cold weather lasts.

This is one of the coldest Decembers in Middle Georgia history.
